About Wendy Hope Leiser

Wendy Hope Leiser was born and raised in New York City. Wendy's love of painting and  art studies began early in childhood when she discovered the joys of  finger paint and drawing with crayons. She graduated from the High School of Art & Design, and earned her B.A. in Fine Art (Painting) from Hunter College. Her art studies continued at the National Academy School where she earned a Certificate in painting, the Art Students League and workshops with artists such as Wolf Kahn, Everett Raymond Kinstler, Aaron Shikler among others.  Wendy's work has been included in exhibitions at the Cork Gallery in Lincoln Center, the National Academy Museum, National Academy School where she won the Vasari award in 2008, Sonia Gechtoff Gallery in New York, the Linus Gallery in Pasadena and the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Brooklyn NY.  Her work can be found in multiple private collections. Wendy currently lives and works in New York City.
